Artist's Comments

My lecturers suggested drawing a creased photograph to help get better at still life, so I chose this photograph of Jayne Mansfield.

I used:
- Bristol board
- HB sunstar sindbat mechanical pencil
- 8B mars lumograph pencil
- Tortillion
- Kneadable and electric erasers

Fantastic! Incredibly realistic, and I love the effect created by the creases - it looks almost as if you're seeing it through broken glass. Keep up the great work!

Wow. That looks /incredibly/ difficult. O_O I can agree about not wanting to do anymore of those! :P It's technically interesting, but not "pretty" as a technique, per se.
